RYLA had very insightful lectures which helped everyone figure out the type of person they were, with as well tips and suggestions on becoming a better leader. The week was designed with games and activities hosted by Rotaractors and Rotarians which had been designed to challenged conventional thinking. "This year, I had the chance to program assist the RYLA coordinators alongside Melanie Burton. Over the course of 6 days, we developed a close bond towards the 28 students who were chosen for this leadership program. We planned scavenger hunts, improv skits, pot painting and planting, and so much more. It was an unreal experience to see complete strangers grow close but to also see individuals go through personal development was certainly rewarding!
